ReplyPilot panel settings, explained

Open ReplyPilot with /rp in a supported comment box. The panel contains draft controls, an instructions field and Generate. The settings guide below explains the normal writing controls; labels and available options can vary with your installed version.

Reply length and Quick Settings

  1. Response Length — Short, Normal or Long: Asks for a different amount of detail. These are drafting preferences, not a guarantee of an exact word or character count. Read the result in the social site's composer.
  2. Sentiment — Positive, Neutral or Negative: Sets the general stance of the draft. Negative can express disagreement; it does not require insults or hostility.
  3. Tone of Voice — Formal, Casual or Sarcastic: Changes the manner of expression. Use sarcasm carefully where tone could be misread, especially in a complaint or an unfamiliar conversation.
  4. Emoji — Enabled or Disabled: Requests whether the draft should use emoji. Delete any that change the meaning or feel out of place.
  5. Hashtags — Enabled or Disabled: Requests hashtags in the draft. A simple answer usually does not need them.

Sentiment, tone, emoji and hashtags are grouped under Quick Settings. If you cannot see those controls, check whether that section is expanded or enabled in your panel. Check their values before changing tasks.

Context switches

Engagement Mode asks the reply workflow to encourage interaction. Give it a real question or reason to continue the discussion. Do not assume every reply needs a follow-up question.

Personalization requests saved profile context. The switch may be unavailable if the extension cannot find configuration for the current platform. Set up the appropriate profile in your account, then check the switch when you reopen the panel. A saved profile is not automatically enabled for every draft.

Analyze Media requests additional processing of available media context. It does not certify that a whole video, audio track or set of images was captured and understood. Check any media-dependent claim yourself and provide missing context in your own words when necessary.

Instructions

Use the instructions field for what you want this draft to do. A fictional example is: “Ask how the author measured the result. Keep it to one question and do not invent my experience.” You can also request a target language, while still reviewing the meaning and register yourself.

Instructions are saved in extension settings and can remain for later drafts. Clear or replace them when the task changes. Treat them as guidance alongside the other controls, not a guaranteed override of every setting.

Generate and review

Choose Generate when the target and instructions are ready. The panel can disable generation while a request is running or when the account's reply quota has been used. Check account credits and billing help if that applies.

When a draft appears, review its facts, relevance and voice. Edit it in the intended comment field and manually post when it represents what you mean. Avoid putting passwords, private customer records or confidential material in the instructions field. For failures at opening, account connection or generation, follow troubleshooting.
