For drafting the comment you came to make

/rp, tone and style controls, then review before posting. [1][2]

Choose MaxAI when

For reading and writing across the browser

Contextual sidebar help, reply assistance and tools to revise existing text. [7][9]

MaxAI can draft browser replies for email, social posts and chats, and its plan page explicitly lists LinkedIn. Its reply page describes a workflow that avoids copying text between apps. [6][12]

ReplyPilot documents a dedicated /rp flow in a supported desktop LinkedIn comment box. MaxAI bundles that kind of writing help with page analysis, search, translation and rewriting. Start with the part of the work that actually slows you down. [1][8]

Sometimes the bottleneck comes before the draft

MaxAI documents webpage chat, summaries and explanations of selected text. These deserve attention if the post links to a long article you need to understand before answering. The assistant’s explanation is a starting point; open the passage that supports your response rather than treating a summary as the original. [8]

Imagine an operations manager reading a claim about reducing support costs. She wants to know whether the cited figure excludes escalation work. Her reply depends on that detail. A tool that helps inspect the linked material may be valuable, but no amount of polish rescues a comment based on the wrong denominator.

Rewriting should preserve what you meant

MaxAI’s rewriter covers tone, length, proofreading, simpler language and paraphrasing. This is useful scope for someone who writes the substance first and wants help expressing it. Its homepage also describes reusable prompts, so users can keep recurring instructions instead of retyping them. [9][7]

Be specific about what must survive a revision: a qualification, a question or a polite disagreement. “Make this professional” can invite unnecessary formal language. “Keep the question, remove the introduction and stay under two sentences” gives you something observable to check. ReplyPilot’s custom instructions can carry those constraints too. [2]

Read the privacy policy alongside the store disclosures

The MaxAI privacy page checked here carries a June 2023 update date. It says it does not collect browsing or chatting information, while describing account information, settings synchronization and automatically generated technical reports. Its store listing separately discloses handling personally identifiable information and user activity. [11][10]

Read those disclosures together. Before sharing private material, check how MaxAI processes contextual requests, which providers receive them and how long the data is retained. Compare the answers with ReplyPilot’s policy and your workplace requirements. [11][3]

Keep understanding, drafting and revision separate in your trial

For a proposed evaluation, use one public post you understand well and another with a linked source. Write your intended contribution first. Compare the draft’s relevance and unsupported assertions, then record the edits needed to make it usable. For the linked post, verify whether the reading assistance found the passage you needed.

Finally, revise a short comment you wrote yourself. Watch for changes in meaning as well as grammar. This tests whether MaxAI’s rewriting tools are useful to you, even if you prefer another workflow for drafting replies.

The cost of the workflow

Pricing and value

Compare the plan you would actually use.

MaxAI’s current .co page presents Free and Pro access, differing chat and file allowances, and monthly or annual per-member billing. It describes automatic payments and final, non-refundable payments. Read the checkout and terms carefully before selecting an annual commitment; older .me search results describe different offers. [12]

Compare ReplyPilot’s live generation allowance with the features you will use regularly. We have not established which setup costs less for your workload. [4]

Common questions

Does MaxAI make me copy posts into another app?

Its reply page describes an in-browser workflow without copy-paste. We did not verify every editor or website in a logged-in session. [6]

Can MaxAI change tone and reuse prompts?

Yes. Its rewriter describes tone changes, and its homepage lists reusable prompts. These overlap with ReplyPilot’s writing controls. [9][7][2]

Is MaxAI free?

It offers basic free access; advanced access has plan conditions. Check current chat and file limits before relying on the free tier. [12]

Does either promise account safety or better engagement?

This review provides no basis for those promises. Check LinkedIn’s rules and review the meaning of every draft before posting. [5]
